Music fans will be ecstatic with the September 2013 release of Sound System, a new 12-disc career-spanning box set from punk music icons The Clash.
The new box set will contain a trove of music and memorabilia that makes it a perfect collector’s item.
Sound System includes all the Clash albums (save for the dysfunctional Cut the Crap), each newly remastered. The albums consist of eight CDs, plus you’ll get three additional discs of demos, non-album singles, B-sides and rarities. Also, there’s a DVD featuring all of the band’s videos and unseen footage from the archives of Julien Temple and Don Letts.
The boombox packaging is designed by Clash bassist Paul Simonon, and houses memorabilia including Clash Fanzines, poster, dog tags, stickers and badges.
Sound System includes the following albums:
- The Clash
- Give ‘Em Enough Rope
- London Calling (2 CDs)
- Sandinista! (3 CDs)
- Combat Rock
Cost is about $200.
