The Beatles’ debut single, Love Me Do, is more than 50 years old. To commemorate the event, Mischief Music is issuing a limited-edition red heart-shaped twelve-inch vinyl edition of the single.
The record is due for release on July 26 in the UK. Love Me Do is on the A-side. The B-side is P.S. I Love You, which was on the original release 50 years ago.
The release is going to be limited to 500 copies worldwide.
However, it is not without controversy, since Love Me Do is now out of copyright protection, much to the ire of musicians, writers and their estates.
Cost is about $20.
