Weaved in more than 200 hours of work, the coat made entirely out of men’s chest hair is a unique piece of clothing. As the Brit company Arla stated (the company launched a new chocolate milk drink brand that targets the masculine public), the coat contains one million individual strands of hair. Apparently, the limited edition coat is a protest against the ‘manning-down’ of British men and it attracts the attention that men actually should be proud of their manliness, instead of repressing it.
In a world where fashion plays such an important role, this is an edgy initiative: a company turns upside down the laws of fashion and introduces the first coat made of men hair to give make men more aware of their manliness. To some, this is a disgusting item, that of course, has absolutely nothing to do with fashion. What’s even more shocking is the fact that the coat is actually for sale and it can be purchased for a staggering price of $3,800. Well, who’s buying it?!
