The Rocco Forte Hotel de Rome might bear an Italian name, but the luxurious Leading Hotels of the World property is actually located in Berlin. Fresh from an EUR 250,000 makeover, the hotel’s Bebel Suite is reason enough to plan a visit.
The 2,100-square-foot suite was designed to resemble a classical turn-of-the-century city apartment, complete with 12′ ceilings and hardwood floors. Overlooking historic Bebelplatz, a massive wide balcony extends the length of the suite and is accessible from all rooms, making it ideal for entertaining.
Key features include techy updates like a 65″ flat-screen TV and virtual surround system as well as a separate study, living room, library with over 1,000 books, dining room, and guest powder room. Want to host a family or a VIP affair? The suite can be connected with up to three more bedrooms and a junior suite, expanding it to over 5,000 square feet of space, and the 7,000 euro per-night rate includes in-suite check-in, luggage unpacking and repacking, Internet access, in-house movies, and daily buffet breakfast.
We’d think for that rate that they could throw in room service, but it’s good to mingle with the locals, right?
