The beautiful and modern Celadon Villa, envisioned as a relaxing retreat by the sea in Koh Samui, Thailand, was designed by GFAB Architects for (and in collaboration with) the British born entrepreneur (interior designer), Camilla Riviere, to spend the cold season in a different setting. She lives in Sweden, where winters are not exactly mild nor friendly. The designer fell in love with Koh Samui and eventually decided to build her new home here. Encompassed by lush vegetation and tranquility, the home-retreat brings Camilla’s eclectic and constantly evolving style to life. “We’ve added some traditional elements, petrified Indonesian woods, some Italian-style furniture, and decor from other places. The impeccable white Celadon Villa, boasting a distinctive style, modern and open, offers framed views of the blue waters and the lush tropical garden. Situated 100 meters above the sea level, yet close enough to go for a quick swim, the villa accommodates four bedrooms, wide terraces and several bathrooms. The top deck is probably the coolest spot to enjoy the perfect sunset, the infinity pool and taste the irreplaceable feeling of absolute freedom. Camilla Riviere’s striking house, located on the top of the world, can be rented for $1000 – $1,800/ night.
