Newly opened, Palazzo Versace Dubai is truly symbolic of the Versace lifestyle with its striking entrance, high ceilings, landscaped gardens, and a range of well-crafted Italian furnishings. Boasting of interiors designed by the Italian brand’s artistic director, Donatella Versace, the hotel is home to 215 rooms and 169 condominiums, ranging from one to six bedrooms, at the hotel on Dubai Creek in the Culture Village area.Reminiscent of a 16th century Italian Palace, Palazzo Versace Dubai is a Neoclassical masterpiece with subtle traces of Arabian architecture. Set in the heart of the Culture Village, less than 15 minutes away from Dubai International Airport and 8 minutes away from Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai, Palazzo Versace Dubai is conveniently located along the shores of the historic Dubai Creek.The striking Mosaic tile ‘Pietra di Fiume’ design of the iconic Medusa and Greek décor is laid piece by piece to welcome guests on arrival. The lobby boasts of a 1,000sqm marble mosaic floor, gold hand-painted columns, bespoke furniture and textiles decorated with peacocks, falcons and horses.Developed by Enshaa PSC, the hotel boasts of design elements that include marble and mosaics, and the Versace icons such as the Medusa head, the Greek Key as well as the house’s colorful, intricate prints, some of which were created exclusively for the Palazzo Versace Dubai. Ceilings are reportedly hand-detailed in gold.The hotel offers two room categories, Deluxe and Premiere as well as five suite categories which unfold as Executive, Grand Executive, Grand, Signature and Imperial.Each of the hotel’s eight restaurants and bars is designed to have an al fresco terrace to reflect the heritage of Palazzos.Giardino is an all-day dining restaurant, with wallpaper in the label’s Jungle print while Vanitas boasts of seafood. Other dining options include avant-garde Enigma, lobby lounge Mosaico, Q’s bar, by music producer Quincy Jones, La Vita bar, shisha lounge Gazebo and pool bar Amalfi. The three outdoor pools are decorated with mosaic tiles and surrounded by palm trees and flowers. The lagoon pools and reflection ponds complement the serenity of the lush gardens that surround the hotel. The beautifully landscaped gardens and unobstructed views of the Dubai Creek and skyline, make this luxury hotel an ideal venue for weddings and social events in Dubai.
