Embedded in the rough landscape of Southern Utah, the spectacular Amangiri Resort Hotel in Canyon Point is a destination for the strong-hearted.
Designed by Rick Joy, Wendell Burnette & Marwan Al-Sayed, this unusual resort hotel has a total of 34 luxurious rooms, each offering dramatic views over the stratified rock towards the Grand Staircase. Here is more information from the hotel staff: “Arrival to the resort is via a winding road that descends into the valley and leads to the central pavilion. Built around the main swimming pool, the Pavilion embraces a dramatic stone escarpment. Within the Pavilion are the living room, gallery, library, dining room, private dining room and cellar. Two accommodation wings lead from the Pavilion into the desert: 16 suites are located within the Desert Wing and another 18 suites together with the Aman Spa are located within the Mesa Wing”. Costs vary from $1,000 to $3,600 per night, depending on the type of suite. For more information, reservation and rates, you can get in contact with the hotel staff here.
