What would you expect to see inside the home and closet of a supermodel who has been ruling the fashion world since almost three decades? Kate Moss has been there and done it all, from becoming one of the highest paid models, to being immortalized in pure gold, to being Playboy’s 60th anniversary cover girl.
Indulging in loubi-therapy appears to be her favorite as Kate quoted “My wardrobe is brimming with Louboutins – the classic black Pigalle stiletto in patent or matt black leather is my go-to shoe. I have so many pairs that Christian designed a style with a sharper toe and nail-thin heel, which he named the So Kate.”
And just before turning 40, Kate Moss posed topless, wearing sexy bunny outfit for Playboy’s 60th anniversary cover. She is heard boasting of her bunny ears, “I have the whole costume from Playboy’s sixtieth-anniversary cover shoot.” A die-hard Chanel No 5 fan, Moss admits she can’t do without the first perfume launched by French couturier Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel, “I always put on Chanel No 5 after I’ve had a bath or before I go to bed. If I’m going out, I’ll layer other fragrances on top.”
Highlighting on organizing to the level of perfectionism, Kate flaunts her handbag collection, “My handbags are arranged by: black vintage, black daytime, bling evening, Chanel, colorful daytime and, lastly, simple clutches.. I usually carry a classic Louis Vuitton bowling bag.” Also spotted is a Marc Quinn sculpture that doubles as a hatstand in her spouse Jamie Hince’s dressing room.
Sunnies not only keep the sun out but also help to hide from the the paparazzi flashes. A hoarder of impressive eye-wear, Kate announces that”Sunglasses are for playing dress-up. I collect anything from the original Ray-Ban shapes through to Seventies Aviators or Eighties mask shades.”
Before virtually walking out of her den, let us take a look at the unicorn that serves as a doorstop in the summer, when Kate throws the doors open. Also, the Mario Testino portrait of Kate Moss with her daughter that hangs in her bathroom cannot be missed!
