The Shanghai Tang Pop-Up Mongolian Village is composed of a winter wonderland aimed to evoke Mongolia’s landscape and traditional nomadic lifestyle. The harbourfront pop-up, located at Central’s Pier 4 Waterfront in Hong Kong, will run from 4 November, 2011 to 31 December, 2011.
A series of authentic, beautiful Mongolian Ger tents will be perched on the rooftop, with sweeping views over the city’s skyline. These exotic Mongolian Gers will operate as pop-up retail spaces, offering the new, limited edition Mongolian Collection as festive gift choices, as well as other signature Shanghai Tang products, ranging from ready-to-wear for women, men and children, to accessories, fragrances, and home wares.
The Shanghai Tang Imperial Tailoring Ger tent will present the latest exquisite Chinese haute couture collection and continue to offer bespoke tailoring services to welcome the Chinese New Year of the Dragon in style. Esteemed guests of Shanghai Tang and its partners will also be invited to a series of unforgettable events under the stars with VIP dinners and cocktail parties hosted within The Chairman’s Ger, a large event tent with outdoor harbour front atrium space within the village.
