NBA legend David Robinson, aka ‘The Admiral’, is putting his San Antonio mansion on the market for $3.7 million, giving us the chance to take a tour of his abode. The Mediterranean-style home sits on two acres of property and features almost 8,200 square feet of living space. It sports five bedrooms, five baths and three fireplaces.
Inside, you’ll find lots of vaulted ceilings and high archways (perfect for the 7-foot tall Robinson). Some highlights include a gourmet kitchen with a stone hearth, a coffee bar, a game room, a media/library room, and a grand master suite with a soaking tub.
The outside betrays Robinson’s love for sports. As you would expect from the ex-NBA player, there’s a full-sized San Antonio Spurs-stamped basketball court. But you’ll also find a volleyball court, tennis court, horseshoe pit, pool and spa. There’s also a gazebo to watch all the outdoor activities.
Robinson, who is a member of the NBA Hall of Fame, won two Olympic gold medals and two NBA championships. He was elected to 10 all star games, and won an MVP award. He served in the navy (hence his nickname) prior to joining the San Antonio Spurs.
