Super model Christie Brinkley has placed her private Caribbean estate on the market for $9 million. The waterfront estate, which is located on a private island in the Turks and Caicos Islands, is part of a resort spanning over 1,000 unspoiled acres.
Brinkely’s estate, called Lucky House, is located on the island’s sunset-facing shoreline. It sits on 1.6 acres and sports over 200 feet of water frontage. There is over 3,400 square feet of living space, three bathrooms (each with ocean views), four baths and indoor/outdoor showers.
Inside you’ll find white-washed interiors with teak and oak finishing. In addition to large lounge and dining areas, the outdoor space features a 45 foot infinity-edge pool flanked by loungers and seating areas.
The property’s lushly landscaped grounds provide an idyllic approach down the meandering drive to Lucky House’s front door, and a backdrop to the stunning sea and pristine powdery white beaches.
Brinkley, age 60, gained fame in the 1970s when she was the face of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue three consecutive years. She was the face of Cover Girl for 25 years – the longest cosmetics contract in history.
Here’s a look at her Caribbean hideaway.
