Salvatore Ferragamo, the Italian luxury fashion House, is celebrating 100th anniversary by launching an exclusive collection of shoes designed by Colombian designer Edgardo Osorio, the founder and creative director of high-end shoe label Aquazzura. PIN ITIt as been 100 years since Salvatore Ferragamo landed in Los Angeles to make shoes for Hollywood actresses. To commemorate the successful century of the brand’s relationship with Hollywood, a capsule collection of desirable shoes has been launched to woo festive shoppers.PIN ITThe Edgardo Osorio for Salvatore Ferragamo capsule collection sees the acclaimed young shoe designer playfully channel the founder’s iconic designs from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s, and reinterpret them for the contemporary woman.PIN ITAll set to hit the shelves before December, the collection is inspired by Salvatore Ferragamo’s iconic models. It comprises of a dozen styles that feature a combination of different materials, including patent leather, suede, napa and cork, and embellished with a range of decorations, such as bows, lace, wings, stones and feathers.PIN ITThe Widged Sandal, featuring beautiful feathered wings, can be strapped on for $1,250. PIN ITLace-Up Sandal elegantly laces up and features mesh detail for $875.PIN ITFor $695, Wrap-Around Bow Pump with its pointy toe features suede straps that elegantly wrap around the ankle.PIN ITThe $925 Chic Bootie with open toe features a delicate tie closure and folds over to reveal a contrasting detail.PIN ITSalvatore Ferragamo creative director Massimiliano Giornetti stated, “Edgardo’s South American culture and his sophisticated creative aesthetic embody Ferragamo’s lifestyle.
