Ronald Wilson Reagan, American politician and actor, has served as the 40th President of the United States. While the world bids farewell to the former First Lady, a property belonging to Ronald and his wife Nancy Reagan in Pacific Palisades, California is on the market for $33 million. However the original home, where Mr. Reagan was showering when it was revealed to him that he had won the 1980 presidential election, no longer exists. The new development does ring memories of the Reagans as some items from the their house, such as the bar from the Reagans’ living room, has been incorporated in the new design. The door of the famous shower that Mr. Reagan was using has been restored and installed in a bathroom off the library. The property boasts of a newly built, 10,000-square-foot house comprising of five bedrooms plus staff quarters. Other notable features of the Reagan-tagged property includes a gym, a 2,000-bottle temperature-controlled wine room as well as a powder room lined with peacock feathers. The 2,000-square-foot master suite is designed to accommodate a luggage closet as well as a shoe closet that can hold 365 pairs of footwear. Rendering stunning views of the ocean and the city skyline, the estate is also home to a heated pool, a guest house and two garages, one of which is a glass fronted “show garage” with a bar and Kegerator that dispenses beer as reported by WSJ. It also comes with a private Presidential Rose Garden that has blooms named after the Presidents and the First Ladies.Nancy and Ronald Reagan sold the house in 1982 after moving to the White House.
