Rolls-Royce Spectre is recognized by clients and collectors as a motor car of lasting significance. Commissioned with the same sense of legacy that defines every Rolls-Royce, Spectre and its Black Badge counterpart have established their place within the marque’s emerging Goodwood-era collector canon. Conceived with the same commitment to longevity and resilience as every Rolls-Royce, Spectre delivers what many regard as the ideal execution of an electric powertrain.

“Spectre has been created with the same legacy that defines every Rolls-Royce. As the first of its kind, it marks a distinct moment in our history. Our clients understand this intuitively and commission Spectre as a Rolls-Royce to be admired and passed down for generations. This was reflected in its reception: Spectre was our most successful coupé launch to date,” said Chris Brownridge, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

The marque’s commitment to long-term performance is reinforced by an unprecedented 15-year, unlimited-mileage battery warranty, offered as standard to both new and existing Spectre owners. Rolls-Royce has also confirmed replacement battery supply extending well beyond the middle of this century, ensuring long-term support in line with client expectations.
Following Spectre’s initial 1.5-million-mile testing program, Rolls-Royce’s specialist engineering teams have continued extensive road testing. As part of this ongoing program, a recently retired test Spectre retained 99% battery health after more than 60,000 miles of real-world driving and charging across multiple climates and regions.

Spectre’s status as a future classic was evident from the outset. In its first full year of availability, it outperformed both Wraith and Dawn in their debut years. Many collectors with established vintage and Goodwood-era commissions now regard Spectre as an essential addition. Reflecting its global success, Spectre was the second most in-demand Rolls-Royce motor car worldwide in 2025.
That year also marked the debut of several highly Bespoke Spectres, signaling that many clients are commissioning the model as a long-term emotional asset and a cornerstone of personal collections. These include Spectre Bailey, a deeply personal tribute to a client’s beloved dog; Spectre Soulmate, commissioned to honor the shared journey of a couple intricately connected to Rolls-Royce Motor Cars; and Spectre Lunaflair, a luminous and poetic Bespoke expression inspired by the natural phenomenon of a lunar halo. Each commission reflects the emotional depth and creative range through which clients worldwide are embracing Spectre.![]()

Spectre’s design reinforces this evolving perception. Its monolithic form, elegant proportions, and clean surfacing offer a timeless interpretation of classic Rolls-Royce design. Dramatic split headlamps, reminiscent of its spiritual predecessor, the Phantom Coupé, and the expressive Pantheon Grille establish a powerful identity, while the sweeping fastback silhouette recalls the grace of historic Rolls-Royce coupes. Inside, features such as Starlight Doors and the Illuminated Fascia enable new forms of Bespoke expression, realized with precision and restraint.
Several early Goodwood-era Rolls-Royces—including Phantom VII, Phantom Coupé, Dawn, and Wraith—now rank among the marque’s revered classics. Spectre follows in this tradition, reflecting a generational shift among collectors toward highly Bespoke electric Rolls-Royces, an evolution the marque continues to observe as it shapes its future product roadmap.
In the photo below, Spectre is pictured alongside a 1965 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud coupe in one of London’s most desirable districts. The image underscores its place among the world’s most prestigious locations and in the company of collector motor cars of enduring value.
