Rock stars’ cars, Joplin’s Porsche at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

Fun stuff going into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fam Museum.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum has another little piece of Janis Joplin’s heart — her 1965 Porsche with its psychedelic finish. It also has ZZ Top’s 1933 Eliminator Ford and Roy Orbison’s red 1967 Corvette convertible. Joplin’s Porsche is now on display in the museum’s lower lobby in honor of the hall’s 14th annual American Music Masters series this fall. This year, the series, which runs the week of Nov. 9, is honoring Joplin’s life and legacy. – From wkcy.com
