The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur is offering the opportunity for couples to renew their vows and receive an ancient blessing in a carefully restored 280-year-old Hindu temple on the premises of the hotel.
Couples looking to renew their vows enjoy a day of pampering to prepare for the ceremony. The wife experiences the property’s special beauty therapy, the ‘Romance of Rajputana,’ and skilled artists embellish her hands with Mehndi, the traditional art of painting the hands/feet with henna for artistic and ceremonial use. Meanwhile, the husband can indulge in an exclusive spa treatment, The Rajvilas Classic, which leaves him feeling rejuvenated for a memorable evening.
A horse-drawn carriage arrives, taking the pair to the Shiva Temple, located within the lush gardens of the resort where a Hindu Priest preforms the renewal of vows and a blessing of the couple. After the ceremony, the couple celebrates with a bottle of champagne, a romantic dinner, and traditional Indian music at the pool, overlooking the temple.
