Never before seen, rare photos of the Beatles’ first US concert were sold at Christie’s auction house in New York for more than $360,000.
The fifty pristine black and white photos were from the Beatles first show at the Washington Coliseum on Feb. 11, 1964. They were taken by Mike Mitchell, who was only 18 when he shot the photos. The prices for the photos ranged from $813 to 68,500.
