A 1967 L88 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible recently sold at auction for $3.2 million. The hefty price tag is the most ever paid for a Corvette.
The L88 option turned the Corvette into a true race car. Chevy decked out the vette with a heavy duty transmission, suspension, power brakes and a 430hp engine. Only 20 of the L88 Corvettes were ever built.
