Last night’s Oscars of the Fashion World – otherwise known as the Met Gala, as long been a testing ground for avant garde looks. Designers adorn themselves with celebrity arm candy for the annual themed fete, which benefits the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Predictably, the gala has also turned out to become one of the best places to catch just-off-the-runway or fresh-from-the-vault looks in all of their glory.
