Meet the super secret Project Mimo (short for Mittelmotor or mid-engined), the working title for Porsche’s new mid-level sports car, a sub-Boxster coupe. Dubbed Porsche 550, the new entry-level Porsche would be a composite of Audi’s proposed R5 and Volkswagen’s BlueSport. The projects are still at an engineering stage — and have not yet been green lighted. Reportedly, it will include a 1.9-liter horizontally opposed four-cylinder to power the 550 Mimo, that is able to generate around 210 horsepower and 215 lb-ft of torque.
