Actress Penelope Cruz and actress Javier Bardem tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the beginning of July, a rep confirmed. Longtime friend and fashion designer John Galliano made Cruz’s wedding dress. She wore the strapless lemon Galliano gown in the picture below to the “Volver” premiere during the 2006 Cannes Film Festival.
Bardem won an Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as a killer in 2007’s No Country for Old Men. Cruz took home an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for the 2008 Woody Allen comedy, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which also starred Bardem. The couple first met while filming Jamon, Jamon in 1992, one of Cruz’s first films.
