Miss your pooch or fuzzy feline while traveling? British Airways has a solution. Starting next month, they’re launching “Paws & Relax,” a dedicated channel starring your favorite furry friends.
No, it’s not a joke. The channel is part of British Airways’ “Slow TV,” which includes programming that helps flyers relax while traveling. What can you expect on the channel? Expect Simon’s Cat – a series of animated funny stories of a man and his cat; The Secret Life of Cats – the popular BBC documentary where cats are fitted with cat-cams and GPS collars to follow their daily movements; and America’s Cutest Dog… adorable footage of dogs at play.
Just when you thought the adorableness couldn’t get any more ‘aww’ worthy, British Airways also said that they teamed up with Battersea Dogs & Cats Home to feature pets for adoption, including Alfie the pug, Karma the kitten and more. We can only assume that these pets will find forever homes very soon.
Don’t want to watch twitchy tails and sad puppy eyes? The in-flight entertainment systems feature plenty of other options, more than 130 movies, 650 TV shows, 550 audio albums and 200 radio shows.
