Production of Porsche’s Panamera Convertible seems to have moved to the front burner.
With Maserati’s four-seater GranCabrio convertible earning lots of envious looks, the impetus for Porsche to develop a cabriolet version of its Panamera sedan seems to have returned. Industry sites are abuzz with the news that recent patent filings indicate the once sidelined project is back on track. In a departure from earlier speculation that had it as a two-door model, the vehicle now seems to have kept all four doors even while topless in addition to the four seats. The convertible is likely to cost at least €11,000 more than the standard sedan. – From James List
