Showcasing a design inspired by sacks filled with coffee grains, the new Don Cafe House in Pristina, Kosovo, sets a new standard in themed creativity. Everything here is reminiscent of the brand’s main focus – coffee – and reinterprets the surroundings according to this basic concept. The interiors of the Don Café House were imagined by Prishtinë-based architectural studio Innarch as a world of awakening with the help of coffee beans silhouettes and colors that induce a feeling of calm happiness.
Organically-shaped walls create a sense of fluidity in this naturally colored setting. Each plywood element on the wall was cut separately with a CNC machine and assembled on site, summing up to 1365 pieces. Pillars have been dresses in coffee sacks, creating a background for the coffee bean-shaped chandeliers hanging over tables that display the same form. This unique concept helped recreate a theme that will be used in the brand’s new environments, adding character to each setting and proudly displaying an asymmetric design that offers the impression of experiencing the inside of a coffee grain sack.
