One of the largest woolly mammoths ever discovered will be on public display later this month by GeoDécor and carries a price tag of $500,000. This magnificent skeleton was entombed in Siberian permafrost for thousands of years, which enabled it to be preserved almost perfectly. The long resplendent ivory tusks, which base circumference measures 23 inches, are over ten long. Bones of the Mammuthus primigenius took ten years to completely excavate, and were only found after an intensive, on foot search through the remote areas of Siberia. – From Affluent Page
