It may be a couple of weeks late, but News Corp has targeted Feb. 2 as the launch date for its long-awaited digital newspaper created for the iPad.
The digital only publication will be called the Daily and will cost 99 cents per week.
The move is the latest to try and get consumers to pay for online content. With so many free outlets on the Web, digital subscriptions have fared poorly to date.
