Amazing new villas available on the private Mustique island.
Known as one the of the premier private beach getaways, the 1,400-acre Mustique island in the Grenadines has unveiled nine new villas just in time for the winter travel season. The new villas range from a seven-bedroom contemporary hilltop home with panoramic views of the ocean to an Oliver Messel-inspired villa with a movie theater and 500-film library. The Scheherazade compound features a four-bedroom main villa and three private guest cottages with their own swimming pool, along with an outdoor palapa entertainment area and tennis court. The sprawling Opium villa, with expansive views of the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea, has a three-bedroom main residence, as well as two adjacent double bedroom guesthouses. Alongside the villa is a Bali-inspired tent for entertaining leading to a pebble-tiled pool, landscaped gardens, and koi ponds. Each of the island’s 72 distinctively designed villas are scattered around the island for maximum privacy and include access to island’s spa, three restaurants, equestrian center, and water sports. Weekly rentals range from $5,000 to $150,000 and include a full staff and vehicle. – From Robb Report
