Helmut Lang has opened a new flagship boutique on Melrose in Los Angeles‘s West Hollywood. The new 7,000 sq ft store and has an open-plan, loft vibe with maximum empty space as well as sheltered coves. The new minimally designed Helmut Lang store uses polished concrete, stainless steel and black and charcoaled wood to allow the clothes, in similar hues, to be the centerpiece.
The flagship boutique, designed in partnership with Standards Architects, features sleek garden by David Laforga, a stark white interior featuring midcentury modern furniture and silk carpets.
“Inspired by the essential spirit of Helmut Lang, the store’s aesthetic parallels the newly considered women’s ready-to-wear collection, launched for fall/winter ’15,” the brand said in a statement.
