Cupertino-based Digi-Q Inc. has created a new Android app – dubbed Unfriend Watch – that notifies you when you’ve been unfriended on Facebook. The app is available for $2.99, but has a free version as well. Those who download the full version will be notified that they’ve lost a friend on Facebook right away. They will also be able to see the names and pictures of those who unfriend you, as well as browse that person’s profile on Facebook.
The app will also automatically let all of your Facebook friends know that you have downloaded this app by posting a short message on your wall.
“It’s kind of a ‘dis’ nowadays to unfriend someone. So, naturally most people want to know when that happens to them,” says the app creator Alex Guberman of Digi-Q. “When you download our app you will be able to find out when you lose a friend on Facebook right away.”
