Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits division of the LVMH group, is taking pride in announcing its new global partnership with amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research, after having supported several of the nonprofit’s events annually since 2008.PIN IT
While this means guests and attendees at all the events will be able to raise a toast with Moët & Chandon champagne and Belvedere vodka. The other prestigious brands under the umbrella of Moët Hennessy are Hennessy, Veuve Clicquot, Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, Krug, Mercier, Belvedere, Glenmorangie, Ardbeg, Chandon, Newton, Cheval des Andes, Terrazas de los Andes, Cloudy Bay, Cape Mentelle, Numanthia, Wenjun, Château Cheval Blanc, Château d’Yquem and Clos des Lambrays.
However the essence of the partnership is Moët Hennessy’s commitment to help raise funds for amfAR programs by offering a prestigious lot for a charity auction at each of amfAR’s events around the world.
This year, to mark their association, Moët Hennessy offered a luxury experience with accommodation, wine tastings and exclusive visits at the most prestigious vineyards and chateaux in France at amfAR’s 22nd Cinema Against AIDS Event. Additionally, Moët & Chandon donated a unique set of three golden jeroboams of Moët Imperial champagne in a custom designed case which was auctioned for 70 000€ (about $76,800) with all proceeds benefiting lifesaving AIDS research.
