France’s Moët & Chandon has been named the Official Champagne of Time Square New Year’s Eve 2014. As millions gather for the world’s biggest New Year’s Eve gala in New York’s Time Square, and billions watch as the Ball drops on TV, Moët & Chandon is the prefect partner to evoke the atmosphere of celebration in style.
“An iconic celebration needs an iconic champagne like Moët & Chandon,” Tim Tompkins, President of Times Square Alliance, told us. “We look forward to toasting the New Year with our new partner and celebrating all our successes and hopes for the year to come.”
“Now the world’s most loved champagne will be linked with the most famous New Year’s Eve celebration in the world,” Thomas Bouleuc, Vice President, Moët & Chandon USA, added. “There is a reason that champagne is the favorite way to ring in the New Year – it elevates and enhances any occasion.”
In celebration of their new partnership with Times Square NYC, Moët & Chandon is touring a gigantic 11-foot bottle of Moët & Chandon Imperial champagne around NYC, visiting well-known destinations like the W Hotel in Union Square (above) before finishing its journey to Times Square. Also, Moët & Chandon is launching a social media program during the month of December, encouraging people to toast to what mattered most in 2013 and what’s to come in 2014. Revelers can create and share virtual toasts through an app on the Moët & Chandon USA Facebook page or with the Twitter hashtag of #MyMoëtMoment.
Lastly, you can also purchase a limited edition “Happy Holidays” crystallized bottle of Moët Brut Imperial. Costing $65.00, the special-edition bottle is crystallized for the holidays and arrives in a custom ivory gift box.
