Moët & Chandon designed the limited edition Ice Impérial Summer Escape Trunk to commemorate the world’s first iced champagne. Right in time to make merry in the warm weather, Selfridges is offering this extravagant party accessory to celebrate out in open, under the sun.
Adding a sparkle to your drink, this luxurious mobile trunk also promises to add style and oomph to a pool side party or any al-fresco jamboree. Cleverly designed to hold up to 20 bottles of Moët Ice Impérial, the portable trunk also features two removable glass shelves, 24 large glasses, two ice buckets and three compartments for ice cubes and garnishes.
Tailor-made in France, the Summer Escape Trunk appears like a travel trunk only to open up to reveal a chilled mobile bar, complete with compartments to store your champagne, buckets, ice and garnishes! At the launch of this trunk, Arnaud de Saignes, International Director of Marketing and Communications for Moët & Chandon, stated, “With just the clink of an ice cube – or the opening of a trunk – Moët Ice Impérial is a groundbreaking way to celebrate summer in style.”
Make this summer unforgettable by rolling in the Moët Ice Impérial Summer Escape Trunk for $13,500 from Selfridges.
Last year, Moët Ice Imperial released its first ever champagne created to be enjoyed on ice, which is very well suited to the blazing summer heat. The ice is said to bring out the tropical fruity flavors of the champagne, which include mango, guava and nectarine, as well as hints of raspberry, ginger and gooseberry. Served in cabernet-style glasses, the Moët Ice Imperial can also be accented and designed into fresh summer cocktails, with ingredients like mint, cucumber, lime, grapefruit and red fruits. The bottles are also designed lavishly and with the summer in mind – white lacquered bottles accented with a black tie and a gold label.
