Michael Kors Holdings Ltd. filed plans for an initial public offering valued at up to about $900 million. It set the estimated terms at 41.7 million shares at $17 to $19 a share, plus overallotments. The company won’t receive any proceeds from the sale. The luxury brand counts apparel, eyewear and leather handbags as among its diverse product offerings. Michael Kors launched his namesake brand 30 years ago and now has a presence in 74 countries. The company has been authorized to list shares on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol KORS. – via WSJ
