A new generation of Vito vans has hit the streets.
The Vito is a Mercedes van – something many don’t associate with a luxury performance manufacturer.
The Vito, however, is a great, utilitarian vehicle.
The major changes to the exterior are the redesigned headlights, bestowing a white collar look to the commercial vehicle. New bumpers, both front and rear, mark other significant exterior updates. The interior overall cabin quality is upgraded. with a new color combination and easy-to-use ergonomic controls. The cabin noise levels have also been lowered considerably.
But it is technology that really makes the Vito shine. The engine now meets the tougher Euro VI emission regulations. Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions have been lowered by up to 15 %. Major technological updates include the sophisticated BlueEFFICIENCY features such as a engine stop/start system and low resistance tires.
Also, the Vito’s payload capacity has been enhanced by installing an improved suspension and improving chassis.
