Mercedes-Benz announced at the Detroit Auto Show that they will send three B-Class Fuel CELL cars around the world. The “Fuel CELL World Drive 2011” will kick off January 29th from Stuttgart, Germany. The B-Class cars are the first standard production Fuel Cell cars ever brought to the market and are available for lease in the US. Dr. Dieter Zetsche, CEO of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes Car group said in Detroit that Mercedes Fuel CELL technology is ready for every day use: “Now it is important to find partners to build the infrastructure so as to make this emission free technology available to customers.”
