While it was hard for many industry insiders to see the New York Fashion Week tents come down for the last time at Bryant Park this past February, the shows must go on — this time, at the new location of Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park. Today IMG announced its plans for the new location, which it says will move the shows firmly into the 21st century, courtesy of technological upgrades, amongst other additions. For starters, the tradition of having three main presentation spaces to hold runway shows will continue (although they’ve been renamed The Theatre, The Stage and The Studio), while the new location will also have the additional Box Presentation Space for industry forums, press conferences, and designer presentations, which have become more popular over the past few years. – From Styleist
