Italian brands don’t really need to repeat their legacy of style. But when two of them converge to put their expertise together on one product, it has to be something seriously unique in form. That’s what the limited edition Maserati Quattroporte will be, as it incorporates what the engineering brilliance of the car maker and the designing expertise of Ermenegildo Zegna. News is out that the car will be on a limited production run in 2014.
For starters, the paint finish is something to be rarely found elsewhere. To give the authentic metallic touch, and a sense of fluidity, the paint has been blended with ultra-fine aluminum pigments. Under this, is a special black primer, which helps in bringing out more depth in the paint color of body.
Fashion label Ermenegildo Zegna has lent it’s sense of contemporary and classic style manifest into the interior decor of the vehicle. The warmth and greige will be blending with mocha, to bring out the sense of sophistication and style which was always the aim. The interplay of chrome, leather and a hint of wood tells one that, each of these limited edition cars, were indeed meant to be that way as they have been made with great care.
Word is also out there, that Ermenegildo has designed the interiors keeping in mind the latest men’s wear fashion trend collections. Those heading to the Frankfurt Motor Show would perhaps have already witnessed the beauty in person. If not, there must be one rich lucky person who might be buying one of these for their car garage.
