When is the watch going to more than just a watch? There are rumblings of an iWatch coming from Apple. And other tech giants are no doubt feverishly prepping their own high tech watches. With all the speculation it’s enjoyable to actually have a high tech watch hit the market.
The voice command Martian G2G watch is designed specifically for women (most men won’t want a ‘lime or ‘hot pink’ watch). This is a stylish Bluetooth watch that can communicate with iPhone and Android phones. The watch is a little bigger than most standard timepieces, but it’s fairly standard in appearance. But packed into the device is a microphone, speaker, OLED display and a micro-USB port.
The Martian G2G has some nice features. It has Caller ID, and lets you accept or decline incoming calls with the push of a button, or decline with a shake of the wrist. You can quickly check the weather, receive text and calendar alerts, or take a photo from your phone with the push of a button. Another nice options is the Martian G2G can find your phone if you misplace it.
Finally, there’s has to be some serious fun value in not only talking into your watch, but watching the reactions of those around you as you do so.
The Martian G2G goes on sale this spring. There are a variety of colors to choose from. Price is $250.
