“Custom private jet tours are one of the biggest trends for 2014. “A noticeable trend in luxury travel for 2014 seems to be hotels teaming up with luxury auto makers to offer five star driving experiences. You can take the new Tesla for a spin this summer while staying at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel in Arosa, Switzerland. Shangri-La Hotels and Ferrari announced their partnership for the Ferrari Challenge Series at the Ferrari Racing Days in Shanghai. Explore Palm Beach in style in a Vintage Rolls Royce at The Chesterfield. California’s Terranea Resort has offered Lexus Drive Experiences for guests. Over-the-top rides from InterContinental Hotels & Resorts include touring the streets of London in a speedy Mini Cooper or witnessing the vistas of the Alps from the comfort of a VIP Audi A8. Enjoy all these luxe destinations in the most opulent of automobiles!” – from Christine Gray, Editor-in-Chief of LuxuryTravelMagazine.com
“East Japan Railway Company, commonly known as JR East, has unveiled images of the deluxe sleeper train service that is designed to carry passengers in the lap of luxury throughout eastern Japan and later the entire nation.
