It’s that time of year again when all the hotels around the world are going above and beyond to put up the most extravagant and luxurious Christmas decor. From the world’s largest gingerbread pirate ship to icy sculptures of penguins and hand-sculpted sand tree reaching over 20 feet tall, the holiday decor crosses all boundaries to woo guests this festive season.
Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris –Designed and created by artistic director Jeff Leatham, life-size ice sculptures of penguins and polar bears take over the lobby of the Four Seasons Paris as a part of “Arctic Fantasy” installation.
The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, USA – The World’s Largest Gingerbread Pirate Ship returns to the Lobby at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. Put up with over 600 pieces of gingerbread and adorned with sculpted pirates as well as chocolate cannon and cannon balls, the S.S. Amelia Gingerbread Pirate Ship will set sail on December 29.

All guests attending the Tree Lighting Ceremony were encouraged to bring a toy in support of Toys for Tots. US Marine Corps accepted over 2,000 toy donations collected at Four Seasons.
