Chanel has named Lily-Rose Depp the face of No.5 L’Eau, its new fragrance created by in-house perfumer Olivier Polge. With parents like the iconic Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, the 16 year-old Lily-Rose is a natural for the new Chanel campaign.
Confirming the news on Monday, Lily-Rose posed with a giant version of a Chanel perfume bottle and wrote via Instagram, “I’m so excited to announce that I am the face of the new Chanel Number 5 L’EAU! ❤️ @chanelofficial #newchanel5.”
In a statement, Chanel has praised Lily-Rose, saying she “embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection, bringing to the iconic fragrance of the House her youthful freshness and beauty.”
