Following the launch of her London vintage boutique Lucy in Disguise, which she opened with sister Sarah Owen last year, singer Lily Allen has released a video lookbook of her own collection.
Still drawing on vintage inspiration, the 18-piece dress range was designed with the help of Nadia Jones, sister of new LVMH menswear director Kim Jones. Apart from taking cues from Allen’s favorite style eras – the 1930s and 40s, there are also quite a few hippie-inspired pieces, such as a red, flowy jumpsuit, that go just as well with the current 1970s trend as other new celebrity fashion lines, such as that of Rachel Zoe.
Priced from $175 to $630, the range will launch next week, retailing at Harvey Nichols in the UK, Shopbop in the US, Le Bon Marché in France, Lane Crawford in Hong Kong, Freeshop in Japan, and David Jones in Australia.
Customers will also be able to shop the collection at the Lucy in Disguise store as well as on its website.
