In cooperation with Light Art Biennial from Austria, Ptuj will host the works of some the finest light object artists in the world. Manfred Kielnhofer, Christoph Luckeneder, Mounty R. P. Zentara and Alexandre Murucci will have displays, plus Korean artist Jeongmoon Choi has been invited to exhibit her light drawings. Installations by Art Stays’ artists (Dušan Fišer) will complement the visiting works of art.
The Light Art Project is is a conceptual upgrade of Art Stays projects from 2005, when the festival carried the name Light Please. The aim is to awaken life in the sleepy oldest Slovenian town. Each night, Ptuj will shine under the glow of the light installations and take a peek into a brighter future. The event is curated by Jernej Forbici.
