Basketball superstar LeBron James is teaming up with Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet to create the limited edition ‘Royal Oak Offshore LeBron James’ watch. The cost of the watch is $51,500. Only 600 of the timepiece will be produced.
The Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph LeBron James features an 8-carat pink gold case, glareproofed sapphire crystal and caseback, a caseback engraved with the legend “Royal Oak Offshore Limited Edition Lebron James”, the LBJ signature printed in blue on the sapphire crystal, and a hand-stitched gray crocodile strap. The watch is water-resistant to 100 meters.
The Swiss watchmaker has a long history of working with athletes, including Shaquille O’Neal and Michael Shumacher.
