Do you absolutely love insanely expensive motorized bikes on three wheels? Then have a look at this crazy creation, said to be launched by Christmas with a price tag of $75,000. Called “Lean Mean Green Machine”, the unusual design belongs to Hammacher Schlemmer and is inspired by a famous 1970s toy .
The front wheel of this green monster is said to be the world’s largest motorbike wheel (or at least that is how the producers like to consider it) and has a diameter of 45″. The unusual gas-powered tricycle is nine feet long and works with an air-cooled, 80cc Harley-Davidson Evo engine. Driving this giant toy can be an experience spiced up with adrenaline. It can reach 50 mph with a range of 400 miles, too bad it was not yet established as being legal. But at $75000, chances are the owner will not really pay much attention to law restrictions.
Skepticism aside, the Lean Mean Green Machine is based on a fun concept and looks futuristic. The green and black color palette inspire energy and- we have to recognize- playfulness. Moreover, the motorbike brings back memories for many out there, so a strong emotional factor could help the company sell this crazy and luxurious toy.
