The Land Rover Defender is getting a special edition. The Land Rover Defender Black Pack and Land Rover Defender Silver Pack are being launched at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
The two new editions bring a variety of changes as Land Rover tried to keep the iconic Defender lineup fresh.
So, what’s the scoop on the new ‘packs’?
First, both packs features Dual Finish alloy wheels, privacy glass, and the choice of Sawtooth or heavy duty wheel designs.
As you would expect, the Black Pack has a black coatings for the contrasting roof, grille, grille surround, headlamp surrounds, wheel arches and interior facia. The Silver Pack does the same thing – only with silver.
The Defender has always appealed to off-road and military buffs. The Silver and Black Packs are sharp and lean – just like fans would want them.
The current version of the vehicle is scheduled to cease sales in 2015. A new Defender will eventually find its way into the Land Rover lineup, but that’s a few years away.
