As Lamborghini celebrates its 50th anniversary, it has unveiled the Lamborghini Egoista Concept, which is powered by a 600 hp V10 engine. At the last stop of the Grande Giro d’Italia tour, the single-seater concept was shown off, which was designed by Walter da Silva, the Head of Design for the Volkswagen Group.
According to designboom: “the cockpit, made completely of carbon fiber and aluminum, represents a sort of survival cell, allowing the driver to isolate and protect themselves from external elements,’ de silva explains.’we kept an eye on the future when designing the egoista, with the idea that its cockpit could have been taken from a jet aircraft and integrated into a road vehicle, to provide a different travel option.”
There’s much to love about the Lamborghini Egoista Concept. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
