Talk show host Kelly Ripa and her husband, Mark Consuelos, have sold their swanky New York penthouse for $20 million. The couple bought the condo in 2005 for $9.5 million.
The penthouse sports nearly 7,000 square feet of living space, five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Some highlights include 12-foot ceilings, an enormous skylight, lots of open space, white oak flooring, two dining rooms, gourmet kitchen, walk-in closets, jacuzzi soaking tub, steam shower, media room, home office and gym.
Outside there’s a stunning 3,000+ square foot private roof deck with fireplace, grill area, covered patio, steam shower and hot tub.
Ripa currently hosts Live! with Kelly and Michael. She originally came to prominence through a 12-year run on the soap opera All My Children from 1990-2002. She teamed up with Regis Philbin for Live! with Regis and Kelly in 2001, which ran until Philbin’s retirement in 2011. Ripa continued the morning talk show without Regis, testing a series of co-hosts before settling on former NFL star Michael Strahan. Live! with Kelly and Michael debuted in 2012, winning the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Talk Show. In addition to her talk show host duties, Ripa co-starred in the sitcom Hope & Faith from 2003-2006.
