Design maestro Karl Lagerfeld is all set to woo young tots and teens with a new kidswear line. Chanel creative director has set his sights on children, after pleasing their parents with his creations. The Karl Lagerfeld Kidswear collection will give an opportunity to boys as well as girls, right from newborns till they turn sweet sixteen, to dress up in Karl’s style. The new eponymous line will be unveiled in collaboration with Groupe CWF from France. Comprising of ready-to-wear and accessories, the collection will hit the shelves in spring 2016 and continue with two seasonal collections each year. The new kidswear collection reflects the brand’s ongoing commitment to newness. Younger generation can also indulge in Karl Lagerfeld’s ironic, playful, as well as creative vision.
CEO of Karl Lagerfeld’s brand, Pier Paolo Righi, states, “The Karl Lagerfeld Kidswear collection presents a unique opportunity to share our cool, ironic, iconic DNA with a wider Karl Lagerfeld audience.” He added, “Due to our brand’s wide appeal our expansion into the juniors market is a natural fit to further enhance our reach.”
