From the moment you step into the open-air lobby, the smell of saltwater and shimmer of the Sea of Cortez beckon you to relax and stay a while.
Truly, this grand view, as well as the ease to set your feet on its sand just moments after leaving your hotel room stood out to me from the very beginning of my visit. Although this body of water is quite temperamental and not advisable to swim in, there are numerous pools to take a dip in. Instead, the beach is perfect for a post-dinner stroll while you save your swimsuit for the swim-up bar.

Despite the dramatic design, the resort still feels warm and welcoming, with an open design that allows you to feel the sun on your skin. Wander the expansive yet accessible resort, which holds six bars, restaurants, and cafes, which all explore unique culinary directions. My personal favorite was MarHumo, JW Marriott Los Cabos’ newest culinary endeavor. Make sure to check out the catch of the day for some incredibly fresh and expertly prepared fish, and don’t be shy to ask your server for advice navigating their extensive cocktail menu.
As is in their name, it is impossible to forgo JW Marriott Los Cabo’s spa. With an impressive range of amenities, Jasha Spa turns into a sanctuary that provides massages, facials, and manicures. You can also relax your sore muscles in a salt sauna or ground yourself in their cold plunge pool.
This resort is conveniently located just a 30-minute drive from Los Cabos International Airport, and you can seamlessly coordinate a ride. If you’re feeling ready to experience the local culture of Los Cabos, it is only a 15-minute car ride from your hotel room to downtown San Jose Del Cabo. Additionally, if you’re craving adventure, stop by the Tamaral Adventure Desk to coordinate unforgettable experiences, such as whale-watching tours which follow the migration of six different species, ATV riding through the desert, or snorkeling in crystal-clear waters.
